Where Atalaya GRC comes from
Behind Atalaya GRC lie over 20 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity and project management across highly regulated sectors: banking, insurance, agri-food, energy and public administration. They were also years of living through audits, inspections, impossible deadlines and spreadsheets no one could find when they were needed.
From that came a simple conviction: most compliance tools are built by people who have never had to comply. They’re powerful, yes, but designed for large corporations with a whole department behind them. Therefore, for a regulated SME, they’re a sledgehammer to crack a nut. In addition, the NIS2 Directive has widened the range of organisations that must manage their cybersecurity, including many medium-sized companies.
